KICK OFF! Chelsea 0-0 West Ham
- Here we go!
We are underway at Stamford Bridge for this London Derby!
Five minutes to go!
Just five minutes to go until kick-off here at Stamford Bridge!
The players are coming out of the tunnel as we speak, lead out by Conor Gallagher and former Chelsea man Kurt Zouma.
A touching tribute
There is a touching tribute to Abhradeep Saha, AKA Angry Rantman in the matchday programme today.
May he rest in peace.
Ice Cold Cole
We couldn't build up to this game without talking about 'Cold' Palmer.
We have run out of superlatives for this man, who has been Chelsea's star boy this campaign.
He may have fallen behind Erling Haaland in the race for the Golden Boot, but he will be a massive danger for West Ham today.
The danger man
There is one man Chelsea will be keeping a special eye on this afternoon, and that man is Jarrod Bowen.
16 goals this season and 6 assists prove that he is one of the deadliest forwards in the Premier League, and he will fancy himself against a rejuvenated Marc Cucurella on the right-hand side.
Last time they met
Chelsea met West Ham at the Olympic Stadium in just their second game of the season, and they lost 3-1.
Nayef Aguerd opened the scoring for the Hammers, before Carney Chukwuemeka levelled the scoring 20 minutes later.
Chelsea then had the chance to take the lead, but Enzo Fernandez fluffed his lines from the penalty spot.
That was capitalised on by Michael Antonio, who scored just after half-time, before a Lucas Paqueta penalty at the death but Chelsea to bed.
Unchanged for West Ham
David Moyes has named an unchanged team from the side that drew 2-2 with Liverpool last weekend.
They have had more time to recover than Chelsea, but can they get another big result here?
Kudus, Bowen and Paqueta have undoubtedly got the quality to hurt a Chelsea defence that has looked leaky at times this season.
Nkunku returns!
There is only one change in the Chelsea starting XI today, as Thiago Silva comes in for Alfie Gilchrist.
But a key name is back on the bench at Stamford Bridge, and he goes by the name of Christoper Nkunku.
The French forward was a marquee signing by the Blues, but has been plagued by injury since he arrived here last summer.
He will be a huge boost for Mauricio Pochettino and his side as they push towards a European spot at the end of the season, if he can stay fit that is.
West Ham line up
This is how the Hammers line up vs Chelsea
Chelsea line-up
This is how the Blues line up for today's game:
Last time out - West Ham
West Ham were not victorious in their last game, but managed to pick up a point against third-placed Liverpool.
They found themselves in the lead just before half-time, thanks to a superb Jarrod Bowen finish, something Chelsea will need to look out for today, but were 2-1 down by the 70th minute.
Michael Antonio came to the rescue for the Hammers, as he scored a late equaliser to take a point home.
Last time out - Chelsea
Chelsea were absolutely brilliant in their last game against Spurs, in which they came out victorious with a scoreline of 2-0.
The goals were courtesy of a Trevoh Chalobah header, who has been excellent since his return from injury, and another header, this time from Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson.
The latter has struggled with confidence a bit this season, but has shown that he has got all the right tools it takes to be a Premier League striker, it is just about nailing down the finishing consistency.
If he can grab another goal today, it will do him the world of good.
Welcome to Chelsea vs West Ham!
Good evening and welcome to Chelsea vs West Ham, the first instalment of today's football!
This is a fixture we are used to seeing be dominated by the boys in blue, but generally speaking this fixture has been a close one in recent seasons, and it's a crucial game in the European hopes of both teams this time around.
It has been a mixed bag for West Ham this season, but they have generally performed well, sitting five points away from a spot in the Europa Conference league.
They have struggled in the league of late though, with two losses to Fulham and Crystal Palace and a draw to Liverpool in their last three games.
The same can be said for Chelsea in terms of results being mixed, but they have generally been quite good since Christmas, and picked up a great win against Spurs last time out.
Stay tuned as coming right up SunSport will have any breaking news, team updates and the starting sides all before kick off at 2pm.
