STUART BINGHAM has always been a popular figure.
That was proven by the rapturous applause he got at the Crucible after beating Ronnie O'Sullivan at the World Snooker Championship.
Fans would have been even more taken by his reaction afterwards, when he fought back tears in his post-match interview.
But during lockdown, the 47-year-old Essex lad scored a whole new following thanks to social media.
The younger TikTok generation were enamoured by the whacky videos he shared online.
Many of them involved plenty of booze, a staple prop for his comedy.

However, in one amazing clip he wore his wife Michelle's dresses, as they swapped clothes for a hilarious skit.
Dressing up for the occasion
While Joe Wicks was getting us to exercise during lockdown, Bingham had other ideas.
He got into TikTok and played around with its features.
In one vid, he swapped clothes with the missus - who donned his snooker attire, including a bow-tie, waistcoat and swimming cap to pretend she was bald

Needles to say, copious amount of alcohol was also admittedly consumed.
“Well, it started off as a drunken lockdown night," he said back in 2021.
“We started having a few drinks, went on TikTok, and then had a bit of fun.
“I had fun with the missus and got a bit carried away – me putting her clothes on at one stage.
“That’s how drunk we were getting. It was more or less a bottle of red through the day and rum and coke at night. So, I’m blaming the alcohol!
“I think about 144,000 people have seen that video. So, it has a bit of a following.
“It’s a bit of fun between me and the missus. A bit of humour, showing off our characters.
“I rarely go on it now. My son is on it more than me these days ever since he got his first phone for Christmas.”

Continued to entertain
And while that was then and this is now, Bingham has continued to use the social media platform to entertain.
Whether his continued along the alcohol theme, shown off his epic holidays or family life, his videos are drawing plenty of likes on TikTok.
Bingham also took in a night at Ally Pally with his pals to watch the World Darts Championship last year.
However, it's the challenges he seems to really enjoy.
On a guess the logo game he scored a very respectable 10 out of 10 - recognising the signage for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Subway and more.
He also shared himself playing with the screw filter - scoring a credible four in that game.

All his content is made with a pinch of salt.
Should he be victorious at the Crucible, expect more fun shenanigans to be had on TikTok on celebration.
