Jurgen Klopp ‘in line to be approached for huge international job’ in shock twist after announcing Liverpool exit
JURGEN KLOPP could take over as Germany manager after Euro 2024, according to reports.
The 56-year-old boss leaves Liverpool at the end of this season.
In his bombshell announcement back in January, Klopp revealed he has run out of energy and plans to take a year sabbatical.
Meanwhile, Germany go into this summer's Euros with Julian Nagelsmann in charge.
But after Xabi Alonso rejected the Bayern Munich job to stay at Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen, the Bavarian side are turning to alternative options.
Nageslmann, who was sacked by the club just over a year ago, is now the favourite to land a shock return to his former employers.

Reporter claims should he quit the German national team after the Euros - chiefs want to replace him with Klopp.
They would be willing to give the Liverpool legend his year off, with him beginning his role in 2025.
Nagelsmann's assistant Sandro Wagner could be Germany's interim manager while they wait for Klopp.
He would still have one year to prepare for the World Cup in 2026 when he does return after 12 months break.

Should Bayern choose not to reappoint Nagelsmann, three other managers are on their radar.
The club have already made contact with Brighton's Roberto De Zerbi, who is reportedly open to the move.
Ex-Manchester United and now Austria boss Ralf Rangnick remains an option.
And Benfica gaffer Roger Schmidt is also a target.
As for Liverpool, Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim is the favourite to take over at Anfield.
