Al-ITTIHAD star Abderrazak Hamdallah was whipped by a spectator after the Saudi Super Cup on Thursday.
The bizarre incident occurred after the final whistle as Hamdallah made his way towards the stand.
He clashed with a furious supporter after Al-Ittihad were beaten 4-1 in the final by Al-Hilal, with Hamdallah getting on the scoresheet.
But the striker was assaulted at full-time after throwing water over the spectator.
The supporter reacted by whipping Hamdallah furiously, connecting with at least two lashes before bystanders intervened.
The whipping riled up Hamdallah even more but a member of staff held him back.

A team-mate also intervened and threatened the fan with a clenched fist, leading him to back away.
Hamdallah had equalised for his side but could not prevent defeat in the final alongside team-mates Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante.
Al-Hilal have now won the Saudi Super Cup on five occasions, and become the first winners of the competition since it expanded from two teams to four.
The Saudi Super Cup used to be a single game between the league champion and King’s Cup winner, but now includes the runners-up from both competitions.

That meant Al-Nassr participated in the competition but lost their semi-final to Al-Hilal after Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off for elbowing an opponent.
As he left the pitch, Ronaldo was taunted by "Messi" chants from the crowd.
