ARSENAL youngster Charlie Patino is set to leave the club this summer, according to reports.
The 20-year-old has spent over two years trying to establish his spot in Mikel Arteta's first team squad.
But with the level of competition higher than ever in north London, he is yet to break into the fold.
According to , Patino could seek a permanent transfer at the end of the season.
Arteta is expected to sanction the midfielder's departure this summer, allowing Arsenal to cash-in on him before his contract expires in June 2025.
Patino holds a Spanish passport through his father, meaning a move to La Liga could be convenient for both parties.

It also gives him additional options across Europe because clubs will likely avoid post-Brexit issues.
The England Under-21s star made his Arsenal debut in a 5-1 League Cup win over Sunderland in December 2021.
He came off the bench to score for the Gunners in added time.
Patino's only other first team appearance came in a 1-0 FA Cup defeat to Nottingham Forest the following month.

He was loaned to Blackpool for the 2022-23 campaign and made 37 appearances across all competitions.
The midfielder has spent this season at Swansea.
In 33 games Patino has scored four goals and provided four assists.
But his last match start came back in January.
