DWAYNE 'THE ROCK' JOHNSON almost suffered a career-ending injury at WrestleMania 40.
WWE fans spotted the moment it almost went horribly wrong for him at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
The Rock teamed up with his cousin Roman Reigns on night one for a tag team match against Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.
He showed off his shredded physique inside the ring as fans were left stunned by his appearance.
However, the match could have ended in agony for The Rock after he lost his balance and twisted his leg.
After landing a deliberate low blow on Rollins, he stumbled away from his rival.
Fans noticed he put a huge strain on his left knee as he did so, though, as he risked tearing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
The devastating injury would have likely ended the 51-year-old's wrestling career.
Reacting to the near miss on social media, one fan wrote: "I can't imagine his career going down due to that incident."
Another added: "The Rock needs a stunt double."

A third fan also commented: "I thought he popped his ACL ffs."
Meanwhile, one more said: "He nearly blew his leg out."
The incident was not the only risky moment for The Rock after he was accidentally speared by Reigns during the match.
He was able to recover to hit Rhodes with a Rock Bottom, though, before sealing victory with a People's Elbow.
The result means Sunday's title fight between Reigns and Rhodes will be contested under Bloodline Rules.
Despite winning the match, Reigns seemed far from happy during his press conference afterwards.
The 38-year-old threatened to walk out after seeming to hear booing as he entered the press conference before demanding the alleged culprit was thrown out.
Meanwhile, The Rock's temper also boiled over as he launched into another expletive-laden rant.
