CELTIC stopper Craig Gordon has emerged as a shock transfer target for Chelsea, according to reports.

Bournemouth have offered £10million for Asmir Begovic, who has hardly featured since joining from Stoke in 2015.

And Antonio Conte is considering making Scotland international Gordon, 34, Thibaut Courtois' back-up if Begovic leaves.

Former first-team goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon - who was axed after falling out with Courtois - has been involved in highlighting potential targets for Chelsea, according to

Lollichon has apparently recommended Gordon to the Blues before with the veteran having plenty of Premier League experience from his five-year spell at Sunderland.

AC Milan's Diego Lopez - currently on loan with Espanyol - and Galatasaray star Fernando Muslera have also been linked with the Blues.

Portugal keeper Eduardo is third choice at Stamford Bridge but Conte will block Begovic's exit unless he has a replacement coming in.

Real Madrid have switched their interest to Courtois from David De Gea which may influence the Blues boss' thinking.

Begovic, 29, produced a series of stunning displays for the Potters to earn his move to Chelsea and would relish the prospect of replacing the Belgian.
