Luke Littler is one of only two darts stars that could beat me right now, says world No1 Luke Humphries
LUKE HUMPHRIES claims Luke Littler is one of only two darts stars who can stop him right now.
The world No1 cruised to his third successive win in the Premier League on Thursday night.
Humphries cleared out Peter Wright and Nathan Aspinall before beating Michael Smith 6-2 in the Dublin final.
He is now seven points clear at the top of the table after Michael van Gerwen crashed out in the quarters yet again.
And after winning the World Darts Championship in January, Humphries is now widely considered to be the best in the business.
However, the ace himself admits there are two rivals who have the capability of stopping his incredible run.

The first is Littler, the 17-year-old sensation who lost to Humphries in the final on his WDC debut.
He is yet to win a Premier League night after joining the tour for the first time.
But Littler has already picked up 13 points to put him joint-third in the rankings.
And he has also helped himself to several wins in other competitions since hitting the road this year.

Humphries also reckons Van Gerwen is one of the best on his day too.
The Dutchman won the first three Premier League nights before going out immediately in the last three events.
He is still second in the rankings on 15 points.
And Humphries reckons both men could yet get the better of him if playing to the best of their ability.
He explained: “I’m not arrogant at all. But I feel like if I play my ‘A’ game, there are only a couple of people who can test me in that manner.
“I think Luke Littler and Michael van Gerwen are the two that can push me and their ‘A’ level can beat me.
“Anything can happen and if I don’t keep playing like this then anybody can beat me.
“I feel like I’m playing the best darts in the world, especially in the past six or seven months consistently.
“But there are so many great players and anything can happen every week.”
