Sheffield FC, founded in 1857, unveiled the joint venture alongside rugby league outfit Sheffield Eagles.
The sporting duo have submitted a planning application to Sheffield City Council outlining their plans for the stunning development.
The stadium, which will be built in the Meadowhead area of Sheffield, is set to have an impressive 5,000 seat capacity when completed.
But alongside the dual-use stadium for rugby and football will be a number of other additions to the local community.
Residents and fans can look forward to a cricket pavilion, multiple artificial sports pitches, an indoor sports hall and a football museum.
