SOCCER AID has concluded for another year - and what a thriller it was at Stamford Bridge.

Former Chelsea star Joe Cole put the Three Lions in front early on before Eden Hazard's stunning free-kick made it 1-1.

Alessandro Del Piero gave World XI the lead for the first time in the game after great work from Usain Bolt in the build-up.

Ellen White got the equaliser for England to make it 2-2 after superb feet from Cole in the build-up.

Minutes after the restart, Steven Bartlett's excellent finish put the Three Lions back in front before Jermaine Defoe doubled his side's lead for 4-2.

In the build-up to the Three Lions' fourth goal, Bolt suffered a nasty injury that required a stretcher.

KSI calls for less pros in Soccer Aid

YouTube star KSI has called for former pros to be removed from Soccer Aid.

Taking to X, he wrote: "I’m very glad Soccer Aid raised a lot of money today.

"Always brings a smile to my face every year. However as football match, that was an awful and boring watch.

"It was literally ex pros just passing amongst themselves, dribbling past people and shooting from anywhere constantly lol.

"Would much rather it just be influencers and entertainers play. Would make the game a lot closer too and more enjoyable to watch as a viewer."

WATCH: Defoe rolls back the years

Tottenham and England legend Jermain Defoe rolled back the years during Soccer Aid 2024.

The 41-year-old striker scored a stunning goal in the charity match.

Eden Hazard got his moment

What a moment for Eden Hazard.

The fans queued up to see him, and boy did he deliver.

His free-kick to level the scoring at 1-0 down was what he would have dreamed about on his return to Stamford Bridge.

He dazzled throughout the night with his trickery, quick feet, and those neat little flicks that Chelsea fans loved so much during his time in this very stadium.

Who formed Soccer Aid?

Singer Robbie Williams and his friend Jonathan Wilkes came up with the initiative in 2006.

Their aim was to help children worldwide have the best possible start in life.

Soccer Aid aims to help kids escape conflict, malnutrition and disease while at the same time accessing education and a generally safe environment around the globe.

How much money has Soccer Aid raised for charity?

The charity football match is the biggest in the world.

Played between England and a World XI, it has raised more than £106m in total since 2006.

Soccer Aid 2024 raised a whopping £15million for charity.

The amount has been boosted by England's Euro 2024 players who have agreed to make a donation from their match fees to Soccer Aid.

Three Lions captain Harry Kane led the initiative from inside the England camp.

Tommy Fury with his iconic throw in

Tommy Fury appeared to struggle with the concept of a throw in during yesterday's charity match.

The boxing star decided to bowl it on to the pitch instead.

Not the first time Jill Scott was caught making X-rated remarks

It is not the first time that the Sunderland supporting Scott has been caught making X-rated remarks.

She infamously told one of the German opposition in the Euro 2022 final win at Wembley to “f*** off you f***ing prick”.

BBC commentator Robyn Cowen dished out the apology, saying: “Apologies to any lip readers.

“Not sure you need to be one to figure out what Jill Scott thought of that.”

ITV forced into apology

ITV had to apologise live on air after cameras caught Jill Scott dropping an F-bomb during Soccer Aid.

The legendary Lionesses ace, 37, captained England to a first victory over the Rest of the World since 2018.

The moment came during the first half when she produced a brilliant touch to collect Jack Wilshere’s pass before then trying to find her ex-England team-mate White.

Unfortunately, Scott overhit her pass as the much-loved star shouted “f***” in frustration.

It did not take long for lead commentator Sam Matterface to move into action, as he said: “I don't know if you noticed it, I certainly didn't but there may have been, just may have been, some rather industrial language that emanated from Jill Scott's mouth when she missed the chance [to score], if that was the case, we do apologise!”

KSI not happy about minutes

YouTube sensation-turned boxer, rapper, and entrepreneur KSI is not happy with the amount of minutes given to influencers and content creators in this year’s rendition of Soccer Aid.

He didn’t play in the match, but some of his close friends did, and he is seemingly disappointed at the lack of time given to fellow Sidemen member Miniminter.

The trophy lift

This is the moment England lifted the Soccer Aid trophy for the first time in SIX years.

What a moment.

Player of the Match

Steven Bartlett was England’s hero yesterday, with a brace that almost became a hat-trick at the death.

He was absolutely sublime, and looked like a hell of a player.

Honourable mentions must go to Tom Grennan and Stuart Broad, who were absolutely brilliant too.

Usain Bolt stretchered off

Olympic legend and the fastest man to ever grace the planet Usain Bolt was sadly carried off of the pitch on a stretcher last night, which allowed Jermaine Defoe to waltz through on goal and score for England.

Jamaican Bolt, 37, was playing at centre-back having started the game up front.

When Jermain Defoe went dribbling past team-mates, Bolt attempted to put a foot in.

The sprint king - wearing his record-breaking 9.58 on his back - appeared to roll his ankle or get his foot stuck into the turf and immediately went to ground.
