A LUCKY punter came up trumps with a huge win at the Cheltenham Festival after backing Sir Alex Ferguson and Harry Redknapp's horses to win for a fiver.
Day Three of Cheltenham saw big wins for Ferguson and Redknapp throughout the day.
Two of the legendary Manchester United manager's horses rode to victory.
The first came as Monmiral won the Pertemps Network Final before Protektorat followed this up in the Ryanair Chase.
Redknapp's horse Shakem Up'Arry then came first in the Festival Plate Handicap Chase.
The wins were pleasant surprises for both Ferguson and Redknapp, particularly given that they were both their first Festival wins as owners.

However, one punter in particular was left jubilant after placing a £5 bet on for the trio to win.
The £5 bet had been placed last night on odds of 35/1 for Monmiral, Protektorat at 9/1 and Shakem Up'Arry at 8/1.
It accumulated to a 3,239/1 bet.
And for the win it returned a staggering £16,200.

On the win, Betfair Spokesman Barry Orr said: "The punter must not only be a Racing fan, but also a big football fan.
"The two ex-bosses are massive Racing enthusiast and Cheltenham is the ‘Champions League’ of the Horse Racing world, so for both to score on the biggest stage is a great result’."
Following the win, Redknapp could now send Shakem Up'Arry to the Grand National in April.
