Man City ace Raheem Sterling and girlfriend Paige Milian ‘over the moon’ after arrival of baby boy Thiago
Raheem also has a four-year-old daughter called Melody Rose from a previous relationship
MANCHESTER City ace Raheem Sterling has become a dad for a second time – after his girlfriend Paige Milian gave birth to a baby boy.
Baby Thiago was born in the early hours of Monday at a hospital in Manchester, with both mum and baby doing well.
Raheem, 21, was at the birth of the tot – whose shares his name with PSG stars Thiago Silva and Thiago Motta, who played against City in the Champions League in April 2016.
A source said: “Raheem is over the moon with the safe arrival of his first son. He was present all the way through the birth and helped Paige through labour.
“Paige is recovering well and Thiago was a very healthy weight and is doing well.”
“They are very loved up at the moment and on a high after the birth.
“No one is sure why the baby is called Thiago – it’s not a family name but I think it’s just a name that Raheem and Paige both liked the sound of.
“I’m sure Raheem will be getting a baby City shirt with his name on the back for Thiago as soon as he can.”
The Sun revealed the £180,000-a-week star was set to become a dad again last November after model Paige, 21, showed off a baby bump while watching her partner play for City at the Etihad stadium.
And in December Paige hinted at the sex of the impending arrival by hosting a baby shower and popping a giant balloon filled with blue confetti.
The couple are childhood sweethearts who split but then got back together when the England ace moved to Liverpool.
Sterling moved from Merseyside to City in 2015 for £49 million.
City are set to host Spurs in the Premier League on Saturday.
Raheem also has a four-year-old daughter called Melody Rose from a previous relationship.
