Stunned Roy Keane checks Solskjaer’s drink after he claims former Man Utd star ‘gave 8/10 every time’
ROY KEANE checked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's drink after hearing the former Manchester United manager's opinion of Fred.
Solskjaer, 51, appeared alongside his old skipper on the Stick to Football podcast.
Referencing the inconsistency that current boss Erik ten Hag is seeing from his side, Solskjaer said: "I’ve been there.
"It’s that consistency again – play well for a time then you don’t know what you’re going to get and that’s the worst thing for a manager.
"If you don’t know what you’re going to get from your team, it’s horrible.

"That’s why when you have a Fred, Scott McTominay, Nemanja Matic – you have players who you know they’re going to give you seven, eight out of ten every time.
"They’re going to give you everything. That’s the best feeling."
At this point, Keane cut in: "Fred? Seven, eight...?"
He then pulled a face of mock disgust as he added: "Not sure about that one."

Unperturbed, Solskjaer went on: "I really liked him in midfield – his legs. They needed them legs in midfield."
At this point, Keane picked up his pal's glass and appeared to inspect it.
Fred, 31, left Man Utd for Fenerbahce last summer after five years at Old Trafford.
The Brazilian's final game for United came in last season's FA Cup final.
During the match he committed a foul on Kevin De Bruyne which led to Ilkay Gundogan's winner.
Appearing as a pundit for ITV at the time, Keane ranted: "Fred had Kevin De Bruyne where he wants him. De Bruyne has his back to goal and then Fred fouls him.
"It’s the height of stupidity. But we’ve seen that from him so many times over the years."
During his appearance on the show, Solskjaer also reminisced on Man Utd's decision to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo in 2021.
The Norwegian said: "When I was manager of Manchester United, I can’t remember too many problems from Cristiano Ronaldo.

“It was the game against Everton when he walked straight off the pitch after I brought him on as a substitute, but there were more problems with him after I had left the club.
“I had a good relationship with Cristiano and there’s loads of respect between us. I think he behaved really well in his disappointments when I was there.”
