PETER CROUCH was left in stitches at what Rio Ferdinand was given by Manchester United on his return.
Jermaine Jenas was appearing on and recalled a story about Ferdinand's return to Man Utd in the 2014/15 season.
Ferdinand, 45, played for the Red Devils between 2002 and 2014, winning a huge assortment of trophies including six Premier League titles and the Champions League.
After leaving the club at the end of the 2013/14 campaign, Ferdinand returned to his birthplace of south London to line up for Queens Park Rangers.
However, things did not go to plan for the defender when he travelled to Old Trafford when QPR faced Louis van Gaal's outfit.
Jenas, 41, recalled a story about his former England team-mates return to his old stomping ground.

He said: "Even someone like Rio. You know Rio's at QPR didn't even get a thank you really from Man Utd.
"He went back there and they gave him some box with something in it and pumped him 5-0 and that was it."
The story sparked laughter from Crouch, who said back: "Box of something in it and pumped 5-0.
"Ruthless."

Rather than the 5-0 Jenas said it was, the match had actually ended 4-0, with Angel Di Maria, Ander Herrera, Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata all getting on the scoresheet.
Although seeing as it has been nearly a decade since the match, we're sure Jenas can be forgiven for the minor error.
After retiring at the end of that season, Ferdinand moved into punditry like Jenas and appears on TNT Sports on their Premier League and Champions League coverage.
The former Rolls-Royce defender recently revealed his combined Red Devils and Manchester City XI of players since 2000.
Ferdinand had left fans cringing last night after a joke about the Masked Singer on TV relating to Copenhagen goalkeeper Kamil Grabara who wears a protective mask.
Jenas also revealed how he turned down an approach from Sir Alex Ferguson and Man Utd due to the club not willing to go the extra mile to land him.
