Richards, who also works for Sky Sports, and the former England captain have also recently become part of the new hit .

That programme is hosted by Match of the Day pal Gary Lineker.

However, during the latest episode he ended up going in two-footed on the fun-loving Richards mid-way through the show.

Golf-lovers Shearer and Lineker were discussing the world-famous Augusta course, the home of The Masters.

Ex-Three Lions striker Lineker was recalling a story of how he had played on the course, but while his fellow forward was hanging on his every word, Richards appeared to have zero interest.

While Lineker was midway through his tale, Shearer suddenly bellowed: “Micah, try and look interested. We are talking about golf and he’s falling asleep.”
