JAMIE CARRAGHER claimed he had not seen “anything worse” than Sheffield United’s “disgraceful” first half performance against Arsenal.
The Blades went into the clash with the Premier League title chasers 11 points adrift of safety and were showed no mercy by the Gunners as they were thumped 6-0.
Chris Wilder’s men had suffered back-to-back 5-0 setbacks at home ahead of their return to Bramall Lane this evening.
However, Sheffield United managed to plummet to a new low by conceding that many inside the first half against Arsenal as they went on to lose 6-0.
Martin Odegaard, an own goal from Jayden Bogle and Gabriel Martinelli had put the Gunners into a three-goal lead after just quarter of an hour.
Kai Havertz added his name to the scoresheet with 25 minutes on the clock.

And it got even worse as Declan Rice made it five shortly before the break.
It is not the first time that Sheffield United, who were also beaten 8-0 at home by Newcastle earlier this season, have been torn apart in their own backyard.
But Sky Sports pundit Carragher claimed he had never watched “anything worse” as he tried to summarise their performance at the break on Monday Night Football.
“That was a disgrace, that half of football,” said Carragher.
