JAKE PAUL stopped boxer Ryan Bourland in the first round - and then apologised to the crowd for the early finish.

The Problem Child has now won three fights on the bounce since his defeat to Tommy Fury last February.

  • Paul will refund fans

Jake Paul will refund over $1.5million worth of tickets after Amanda Serrano was dramatically forced out of her fight at the last minute.

The Puerto Rican icon was due to make her San Juan homecoming in an undisputed featherweight title defence against Nina Meinke.

Her YouTuber-turned boxer manager and promoter Paul knocked out Ryan Bourland in round one of the co-headliner.

But news began to trickle in that Serrano, 35, had suffered an eye injury that would sensationally force her out of the fight.

And following Paul's first-round knockout, she entered the ring wearing glasses to cover her face looking devastated.

Serrano was evidently heartbroken as she confirmed doctors refused to rule her fit to fight meaning she had to withdraw at the last minute.

  • Paul's reaction on X

Paul wrote on X: "Last night was bittersweet. Got the W. It felt amazing to fight in Puerto Rico. But my focus is on Amanda Serrano.

"Amanda was beyond heartbroken but still had the courage to come into the ring and speak to the sold out crowd in attendance that was there for her. That’s what a leader does. That’s what a champion does. Riding with you to the end Amanda. You are the real deal.

"@Serranosisters Thank you to my entire team, our event partners, the support in Puerto Rico and to all my fans worldwide."

  • Paul on Insta

Jake Paul had a very simple message on Instagram, following his win over Serrano.

He shared snaps from the fight, with a simple caption of his nickname.

    He wrote: "The Rooster."

  • Paul's whacky outfit

Jake Paul had fans baffled by his fight outfit after knocking out Ryan Bourland with "a tutu on".

The YouTuber-turned prizefighter made his return to the ring on the undercard of Amanda Serrano's Puerto Rico homecoming.

And he did so with an all new look, ditching the black and white gear he has worn for his last two bouts.

Instead, he donned the red and white of Puerto Rico - the Dominican island where he lives in a £13million mansion.

But fans at home were not so convinced by his fight shorts and the tassels that came with it.

One said: "Jake Paul in a tutu."

  • Paul on Serrano

Jake Paul went into detail regarding Amanda Serrano's eye injury.

I know there’s people booing but Amanda came to fight, put in a hard camp but the doctors wouldn’t let her move forward because of her eye.

Her cornea was exposed as she was failing some eye tests she wasn’t able to fight.

She did everything to make it happen and this happened super, super last minute.

We did everything in our power to continue to keep the fight happening but the doctors wouldn’t allow it.

And her cornea was exposed and you can’t risk losing your eyesight forever for just a fight.

  • Amanda Serrano reacts

Amanda Serrano was so certain she would be cleared to fight Nina Meinke despite her eye injury that she even had her hair done.

I came ready to fight, 100 per cent I came to show my fans a great show.

But the doctor didn’t clear me because I had something wrong with my eye.

I had my hair done a couple of days ago, as you can see, the doctor didn’t clear me to fight. I wanted to fight for my people.

  • Paul responds to Garcia

Jake Paul is open to accepting Ryan Garcia's challenge to a fight.

Ryan, I love you, you know that bro but you gotta chill out, bro.

I'm just saying, chill bro. But if you do want to fight, that to me is light work.

You've got no footwork and for as long as you've been in the game, I'm a better boxer than you.

I know you want it, I know you want it and I'm repping Puerto Rico, you're repping Mexico so it's Puerto Rico vs Mexico.
