I started playing darts to beat lockdown boredom in 2020… now I’m rivalling Luke Littler as latest teen whizkid
A NEW challenger to Luke Littler has emerged.
17-year-old Jenson Walker was making his TV debut at the UK Open and defeated Pole arrow-thrower Sebastian Bialecki 6-4.
It was clearly a big moment for Walker, with the youngster taking a breath to compose himself before throwing for double-tops.
After hitting his target to check out, he could hardly contain his emotion and ran around the stage in celebration.
His family were seen celebrating and embracing each other as they celebrated the momentous occasion.
Walker has not played the sport for long, taking the sport up at just 13 during the 2020 Covid lockdown.

But despite the PDC player's young appearance he is actually OLDER than Littler.
Walker was born on October 31 2006 whereas Littler was born three months later on January 21 2007.
Fans were confused by the age difference after the PDC uploaded a clip from his face-off with Bialecki to X.
Fans on the website couldn't help but draw comparisons between him and Littler.
