Referee Guillermo Cuadra rightfully dished out a yellow to Williams and awarded a dangerous looking free-kick to Real Betis.

The man in charge didn't take well to the Spanish international's antics and immediately reached for his pocket to give him a second yellow and a subsequent red.

Taking to social media one fan wrote: "Possibly the dumbest red card I have ever seen."

While a second added: "He couldn’t make dissent look anymore obvious."
