I’m a world snooker champion with more than £4.5million career earnings – now I’m competing for £850 on TV quiz show
NOT all sports stars kick up their feet with their huge pay cheques.
Snooker star Luca Brecel has conquered the cloth and is now testing his intellect on a TV quiz show instead.
Brecel, who has a reported net worth of £4.5million, will be competing for the grand prize of £850 on Belgian quiz show Blokken.
The long-running show translates to "Blocks" in English and is based on the iconic video game Tetris.
And Brecel is a huge fan of the quiz show and has earned his spot on it like anyone else would - without preferential treatment.
The World Snooker Champion explained on his show debut that he is just a fan like everyone else.

He said: "I have watched it many times and I just think it is a very nice programme."
It's a world away from his usual lavish lifestyle of competing for prize pots nearly 600 times larger than the TV show's cash prize.
Brecel pocketed £500,000 when he won the World Snooker Championship in Sheffield last year.
Although he's burned through a fair amount of his earnings from his time at the table with the 28-year-old admitting he splashed the cash on a car collection.

The Belgian has intentionally drained his bank account after buying a Ferrari, a Range Rover and a Porsche.
He said last year: "I bought two more cars this week, so I went from a millionaire to a non-millionaire.
"It was a conscious decision to buy the cars and maybe feel that bit of pressure again, to recreate the feeling I had of just starting my career."
Brecel is not your usual Snooker player either with the star leading an unusual party-filled lifestyle.
He went on an all-day bender until 6am and got "drunk as hell" before his shock upset over Ronnie O'Sullivan last year.
The world number four will have to turn his attention back to snooker after his fun on the quiz show with this year's World Championship starting in just two months' time.
