Their Spurs rivals also showed up in force, with Dele Alli, Jan Vertonghen, Vincent Janssen and Michel Vorm representing the white half of north London.

A number of pop stars and actors were also at the event, which was the hottest ticket in the capital on Thursday night.

In the one NBA London game, it was the 'home' team for the day the Nuggets who went points-mad to stun the Paul George-led Pacers.

Italian star Danilo Gallinari got Denver off to a flyer with a host of quick buckets from three-point range.

From there, Indiana were always playing catch-up and a brutal run in the third quarter from Gary Harris and Nikola Jokic saw Denver put the game to bed with well over a quarter to go.

At one stage, the Nuggets led by 31 at 100-69, with three minutes left in the third - an astonishing figure with 15 minutes left to play.

And stars from the world of football including Mesut Ozil, Dele Alli and Thierry Henry were all there to witness the action.

PG13 was almost anonymous on the night whilst almost every Nugget was scoring efficiently - and more worryingly - all too easily.

In a scathing indictment of Indiana's defensive output, at one stage it seemed any shot taken was going to hit the bottom of the bucket.

At the other end, they were struggling to get the lid off the basket, putting in an inefficient display.

By the end of the third, Indiana were down 30 and staring a blowout loss square in the face.

And Denver showed no signs of relenting in the final 12 minutes, playing smart, mature basketball, despite their youthful roster to burn the shot clock and take smart shots.

Their combination of threes and alley-oops killed the game as much as it did the spirit of the Pacers.

CJ Miles was a rare bright spot for Indiana, but he couldn't claw it back by himself, as he could only watch Western Conference side Denver stroll to the win.
