MANCHESTER UNITED fans were left stunned by Erik ten Hag's tactical tweak involving Diogo Dalot during their win over Luton.
Rasmus Hojlund's first-half brace saw the Red Devils earn a hard-fought 2-1 win at Kenilworth Road on Sunday.
But it was Dalot who caught the eye among many of the Man Utd faithful.
And much of the talk around the Portuguese full-back was based on one run he made in the second half.
With Man Utd keeper Andre Onana in possession, Dalot made a lung-busting burst from right-back across the Luton defence and received the ball behind the opposition back line on the left-hand side.
He was then faced with beating shot-stopper Thomas Kaminski, but Luton's No1 dived on the ball as Dalot attempted to go around him.

Yet it was the cross-field run from Dalot that led many to comment on social media.
One said: "That outside to in run from Dalot was exceptional.
"That's the type of movement you expect from an attacker."
Another added: "What a run from Dalot! Unlucky to not get a shot off, probably needs to do better."

While a third replied: "Dalot makes a great run but doesn't do anything good with the ball."
Dalot has made 33 appearances for Man Utd in all competitions this season, starting 22 of their 25 Premier League games.
He has scored two goals and provided three assists.
And he has even played eight matches at left-back due to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia both suffering injury problems.
