Brutal tackle ‘like something out of WWE’ leaves fans shocked as player totally wiped out and ‘folded like a deck chair’
RUGBY LEAGUE fans have been left shocked after a brutal tackle left a player "folded like a deck chair".
The bruising challenge happened in the Catalans Dragons' clash against Warrington Wolves in the Super League.
Wolves star George Williams, 29, was running with the ball when he was heavily tackled.
Tariq Sims, 34, took the halfback with a brutal tackle that sent them both to the ground.
Williams appeared to be not too impressed with the tackle as he shrugged Sims off after standing up.
Rugby League fans loved seeing the tackle as they flocked to social media to comment.

One viewer exclaimed: "Ouch, like something out of WWE. Bruising."

The Dragons won the clash 16-10 in Perpignan, France.
Catalans coach Steve McNamara even admitted that the game had some "brutal contacts" throughout.
He said: "It was such a tough game. Some brutal contacts. Both coaches will be happy with their teams.
"We deserved it but that was a hard, hard game for round one and I'm so pleased we got through it.
"We managed to soak it up and come out the other side and that's big credit to the players and strength and conditioning staff."
