Glasner – the 2022 Europa League winner with Eintracht Frankfurt – was in the Tottenham crowd for the Premier League match with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

And it appears he was doing some early scouting work for Palace’s upcoming match there on March 2.

Glasner, a former Austrian league defender, has yet to be announced as the new manager of the Eagles.

Hodgson, 76, was taken to hospital after falling ill during training on Thursday as it appeared he was about to be axed.

It is understood he is recovering well after falling ill and is feeling better and on the mend slowly.

Paddy McCarthy is preparing to take charge of Palace’s visit to Everton on Monday night as they try avoid being dragged into a relegation scrap.

Glasner began his coaching career at SV Ried in 2014, a team he used to play for.

He then joined LASK for the 2015/16 season, helping them achieve promotion in his second season.
