CHELSEA star Conor Gallagher apologised on Sky Sports after his double sunk Crystal Palace.

The Blues came from behind to win 3-1 as the midfielder scored the equaliser and a 91st minute winner.

Enzo Fernandez then wrapped up the three points with the last kick of the game - but it was his team-mate who stole the show in a more advanced role in the Chelsea side.

On his versatility, Gallagher said: "I have played in a number of positions this season.

"Holding midfield, box-to-box, No10 and even up front - but I'm happy to play anywhere for the manager."

And he is greatly appreciated by Mauricio Pochettino, who referred to him as "priceless".

But uncertainty over his future at Stamford Bridge continues amid concerns over Financial Fair Play.

Selling Gallagher would count as 100 per cent profit as he is a homegrown player and the matter could be taken out of Pochettino's hands.

Asked about his contract situation while on England duty in November, Gallagher said: "I’m sure that will get sorted out.

"Everyone knows Chelsea is my club and I love playing for them.

"The fans are brilliant and I’m loving right now and I’m sure it will get itself sorted out.

";A lot was going on in the summer, a big transition in the club, a lot of players coming in, a lot of players leaving.

"I was lucky enough to stay and be a part of the manager’s plans.

"Whatever he wants me to do I have been doing and I will keep working as hard as possible for him.

"It was a crazy period in terms of ins and outs at Chelsea and I had conversations with the manager and he expressed that he liked me as a player and I was in his plans and I was really happy with that."
