DORA the Explorer has made a cameo as a rules expert during Nickelodeon's Super Bowl broadcast.
While most viewers tuned in to the huge game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers on CBS, others were able to catch an alternative broadcast of the game on Nickelodeon.
In a bid to get kids interested in the game, Nickelodeon offered an alternative broadcast that saw SpongeBob SquarePants and best pal Patrick Star call the game from Allegiant Stadium/Bikini Bottom.
As the game went on, Dora occasionally popped up to explain the rules.
At one point Dora spelled out the holding rule, with fans online seeing the funny side of the kids broadcast.
"This is insane," one fan said.
"This is AWESOME! changing to watching in Nick," a second gushed.
A third cheekily commented, "I know a lot of folks on my TL who need this ngl."
"Dora knows best lol," another added.
Chiefs star Travis Kelce began dating Taylor Swift last year, with the 14-time Grammy-winner jetting into Las Vegas from Japan to catch the game live.

With the superstar singer bringing with her a huge fanbase of her own, a further social media user wrote of Dora's explanations: "This is obviously an addition for the Swifties."
The Nickelodeon broadcast was described as being for "lovers of slime and really good sports time".
Those that tuned in were treated to an incredible game.
The 49ers raced into a 10-0 lead during the first quarter.
But the reigning champion Chiefs came roaring back to take the game into overtime.
With seconds remaining Mecole Hardman dramatically caught the winning touchdown to seal the Chiefs' third Super Bowl triumph in five years.
After the game, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, gave an ominous warning to the rest of the league.
Asked if his team was a dynasty, the 28-year-old said, "It's the start of one. We're not done."
