FOOTBALL is full of over-the-top personalities and glitz and glamour, but it doesn't often crop up at youth level.

However that doesn't mean there aren't some players who are destined for stardom from an early age.

When most fans think about U20s football they picture muddy pitches and tiny crowds.

But for one former Chelsea player, youth football meant helicopter arrivals and wowing his teammates.

Ex-Blue Oscar was a dazzling talent during his days in the Premier League and was always highly rated from a young age.

The Brazilian went on to represent his nation 48 times and win two league titles with Chelsea.

And it seems that it was clear to his teammates that he was on a different stratosphere to them in terms of both ability and personality.

Oscar's former Brazil U20s teammate Lucas Covolan explained how he would wow the squad with not only his skills, but his mode of transport too.

The Maidstone United goalkeeper revealed that Oscar once turned up to training in a HELICOPTER.

Speaking to the , he said: "Oscar played in that Under-20s team – he was unbelievable.

"Everyone knew he was going to be a star. One time he arrived at training in a helicopter. We were like: ‘Oh my days!’"

Oscar represented the Brazilian first team in the 2014 World Cup and now earns millions plying his trade in China for Shanghai Port.

Covolan, on the other hand, plays in the National League South - England's sixth tier.

Although the shot-stopper has had his moments in the spotlight as well.

He earned himself the man of the match award as the non-league minnows knocked Championship high-flyers Ipswich Town out of the FA Cup.

While he also made headlines for scoring a last minute winner as goalkeeper in the National League play-off final during his days at Torquay.
