VICTOR LINDELOF'S Manchester United switch has finally been given the green light, according to reports in Sweden.
The Benfica centre-back has been on Jose Mourinho's radar for some time with a £42million fee agreed.
Old Trafford chiefs saw the deal hit a brick wall with legal wrangles and suggestions the Special One had changed his mind on the 22-year-old.
But Swedish paper insist Benfica have reached a deal with his former club, Vasteras, after a dispute over the percentage of the fee they were due as a sell-on.
Lindelof sat out of the Portuguese giants' last game with his transfer seemingly on the verge of going through.
But on Monday he began training with the first-team squad again as the saga rumbled on.
The Swedish international - who played at Euro 2016 - is set to take the No2 shirt if he eventually ends up at Old Trafford.
