WWE superstar Brock Lesnar hit with one-year United States Anti-Doping Agency ban for double drugs bust around Mark Hunt comeback win
The ex-UFC heavyweight champ and part-time wrestler was already banned the Nevada State Athletic Commission for the test fails
UFC and WWE superstar Brock Lesnar has been hit with another one-year MMA ban for two failed drugs tests from his comeback win over Mark Hunt.
The ex-UFC heavyweight champ and part-time wrestler beat Hunt on his return to the octagon but he failed anti-doping tests before and after the fight and The United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) have hit him hard.
The Beast tested positive for clomiphene and its metabolite, 4-hydroxyclomiphene, following an out-of-competition urine test on June 28 and an in-competition urine test on fight night, July 9, in Las Vegas.
Clomiphene is an anti-estrogen agent that can indirectly raise natural testosterone levels in the body, and can also counter the side-effects of anabolic steroid use and be used to combat man-boobs.
In December, the giant has was also handed a £200,000 fine and one-year suspension by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for the double fail, which caused a tirade of abuse from knockout master Hunt, at the time.
Lesnar, 39, will be eligible to return to active mixed martial arts competition on July 15 but WWE appear to be unwilling to get involved in the issue and Lesnar is still the main attraction in their upcoming showcase Royal Rumble event on January 29.
