His dream run at Ally Pally saw him instantly rise to stardom.

Meanwhile, watching on from his home in Louth, Lincolnshire was a six-year-old hoping to be the next sensation to take the sport by storm.

His father Tom claims he "throws like a natural" and "we are very proud of him and will support him all the way."

Lucas has his own full-sized board that he practises on every day.

He stands the correct distance away and uses full-sized arrows - with the board at a lower height.

Mum Laura exclusively told SunSport: "Lucas is always saying he wants to be a pro and has even told school. It says so in his report.

“When he actually managed a 180 he was absolutely delighted. We couldn’t believe it.”

The hype has already seen Lucas wow on live TV, hitting a bullseye to leave This Morning presenters Josie Gibson and Rylan Clark gobsmacked.

Laura told : "We don't push him in anyway, if he doesn't want to play or go on TV shows that is fine and we 100 per cent support him."

Lucas' idol is Peter Wright and he often copies his walk-on dance.

And he already has the attention of more stars after receiving signed gifts from Micheal van Gerwen, current world champion Luke Humphries and voice of darts Russ Bray.

Yet he is not the only schoolboy with incredible skills, The Sun recently met three-year-old sensation Beau Barker, who can hit bullseyes and uses steps to retrieve his darts.
