WWE legend Triple H poses with unrecognizable 2000s rock star as fans gasp ‘what the?’ after working out who it is
WWE legend Triple H hosted a special guest at SmackDown on Friday night.
Triple H posted a picture of him posing with an unrecognizable rock star on Twitter which put fans into a frenzy.
The WWE boss was posing with the lead singer of Nickelback, Chad Kroeger.
"Look at this photograph," Triple H captioned the post.
While Kroeger and his Nickelback bandmates were never competitors in the ring, they do have a special tie to the WWE.
In 2009 their song Burn it to the Ground was selected as the official theme of Monday Night Raw.
It was used until Raw 1,000 in July of 2012.
Other Nickelback songs have been used for WWE events alongside Burn it to the Ground.
Their song This Means War was used for the 2012 Elimination Chamber event and Edge of a Revolution was used for Survivor Series in 2014.
Nickelback also performed a live rendition of Burn it to the Ground at the Tribute to the Troops event in 2011.
