Humphries sought professional help as well as changing his diet — causing him to lose four stone.

He went on to beat 16-year-old sensation Luke Littler to clinch the PDC title on Wednesday night.

Humphries also tasted success at the World Grand Prix, Grand Slam of Darts and Players Championship Finals in previous months.
