The nation has been swept up as "Luke the Nuke" continues to brush aside every experienced pro that's put in front of him.

And he is now 13/8 FAVOURITE to win the whole thing after Scott Williams later knocked out Michael van Gerwen in a huge upset.

Littler's dominant 5-1 victory over Dolan just continued to leave people in awe of his ability at such a young age.

The teenager is now just one win away from booking his spot in Wednesday's final and his family and friends couldn't be more proud.

And Surrey beauty consultant and fellow darts player Eloise was not the only one supporting the Warrington lad as he darted away to celebrate with his family.

She even posted a message on Instagram saying how proud she was of him after watching his incredible journey over Christmas, and Littler's sister Caitlin also shared a touching post of encouragement online.

And he could walk home with the £500,000 first prize and the Sid Waddell trophy when the competition comes to a close on Wednesday.

The "Prince of the Palace" is confident that he could be world champion by midweek too with the previously 150-1 contender now eyeing up the big prize.

If he makes it through the semis he will face either Luke Humphries, who beat Dave Chisnall 5-1 in his quarter-final, or Scott Williams, who knocked out Michael van Gerwen with a shock 5-3 win.

Speaking after his win, Littler said: "It’ll take a lot to beat me, based on my past performances in these Worlds.

“If I keep it up, I have a good chance. I’m only two games away. I’m definitely thinking about the title.

“This is the first time I have thought about it. It’s unbelievable.

“Rob is another person in the way. Obviously he won it on his debut – now I have my hopes of winning on my debut as well.

“This is unbelievable. I’ve felt confident ever since the opening game with Christian Kist.

“I don’t want to jinx it but every game I have played I have gone one or two sets up. I’m a good player to get off the mark quickly.
