Luke Littler leaves fans in stitches with ‘box office’ antics in World Darts Championship clash with Brendan Dolan
LUKE LITTLER had fans in stitches with his "box office" antics in his World Darts Championship clash against Brendan Dolan.
Littler attempted a Big Fish - which is a score of 170 to end a leg - and turned to the crowd to rile them up.
One added: "Luke Littler is an entertainer."
Another hailed: "Littler turning to the crowd asking for the 170. What a personality."
Littler – who 50-year-old Dolan from Northern Ireland in the quarter-finals – has far exceeded his pre-tournament ambitions but his story is not over yet.
He said: “Wow. I am in the semi-finals on my debut. I am glad to get here. My performances have been good. It went well up there.
“If I keep it up, I have a good chance of winning. Now I am dreaming, I am only two games away. I am definitely thinking about the title.
“I just wanted to get over the line. I am gutted for Chris Dobey, who lost to Rob Cross.
“My board management is probably one of the best. I know what to go for and what to settle on.
“Rob was unbelievable on debut, so am I, I am looking forward to playing him.
“I can now wake up at 9am and chill and come back in the evening.
