ART OF WAR

Arsenal fans demand ‘untouchable’ star is ‘sold tomorrow’ after Arteta’s mistake that ‘you can’t let happen’

Gunners lost more ground in title race with 2-1 defeat at Fulham

ARSENAL fans have demanded that Jakub Kiwior is SOLD in January.

That’s after the defender put in a stinker against Fulham on New Year’s Eve.

The Polish ace, 23, lined up at left-back in Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat at Craven Cottage.

But he was hooked at half-time by Mikel Arteta following a dismal 45 minutes.

The defender was at fault as Raul Jimenez fired home to equalise for the Cottagers.

Kiwior’s brief appearance in the league was just his 14th since joining Arsenal from Spezia a year ago.

And the Gunners have now seen their title hopes take another huge hit following the midweek defeat at West Ham - slipping from top of the table on Christmas Day to fourth.

Arsenal fans certainly appear to have seen enough from Kiwior.

Many took to social media demanding his exit after the Fulham game.

One said: “Kiwior is just too slow to play LB, you can’t let that happen.”

Another declared: “Get rid of Kiwior tomorrow.”

One noted: “Kiwior that loan offer can’t come soon enough.”

Another added: “Kiwior isn’t a LB, he’s not that much better than Zinchenko defensively without the progression.”

But one fan felt Kiwior was not to blame for the defeat to Fulham.

They boomed: “It’s easy to blame Kiwior for the goal but the real problem was Ben White.”
