SNOOKER star Dominic Dale apologised to his opponent Jamie Jones after winning with the "fluke of the season" at the Scottish Open.
The Welshman stunningly won the deciding match on Wednesday night in Edinburgh thanks to a huge slice of good fortune.
Dale, 51, was leading the way until Jones, 35, fought back twice from two games down - forcing the pair into a heated final frame.
On the match ball, Dale did not have an easy pot on and seemed to curve his shot.
The cue ball bounced off the cushion into the last red which then pinged off the middle and went into the top pocket.
Immediately after his bonkers shot, he was heard "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry" to Jones.
