Arsenal fans brilliantly ‘set up GoFundMe page’ to pay West Ham MORE for Declan Rice after heroics against Luton
ARSENAL supporters have hilariously joked about setting up a GoFundMe page to pay West Ham MORE for Declan Rice.
The Gunners forked out a club-record £105m to sign the England international this summer.
The 24-year-old Rice was already widely-regarded as one of the Premier League’s top holding midfielders.
And he has enjoyed a brilliant start to life under Mikel Arteta at the Emirates Stadium in his first few months for the club.
Rice’s performances have helped Arsenal to go top of the table as they look to end their two decade wait to be champions.
He further strengthened his popularity with Gooners last night when he inflicted heartbreak on Luton Town in the final minute to secure Arsenal a 4-3 win at Kenilworth Road.

He headed home right at the death to spare goalkeeper David Raya's blushes after his two errors and move the Gunners five points clear.
Arsenal legend Ian Wright has previously claimed that he believes the North London side “robbed” West Ham in the Rice transfer deal –and that he feels “guilty” that the Gunners did not give the Hammers “an extra £20m” for the star.
Now it seems that the club’s fans feel the same – although they are cheekily looking to raise an extra £5m to that tally.
Following his match-winning display, one posted a link on social media that read: “Go Fund Me to pay West Ham an extra £25m for Declan Rice.”

On the page, they then wrote: “In light of the unfortunate robbery of West Ham United. We are asking Arsenal fans to come together to raise funds for West Ham United to compensate the underpayment of Declan Rice.
“It has become evident in the last 15 weeks that Edu and Arsenal were the beneficiaries of a £25,000,000 underpayment to West Ham United.”
No donations are yet to be made, but excited supporters were quick to reply to his post.
One claimed it was the “best signing in EPL” while another said that “25m is still too small”.
And another even said “we should them £25m every year at this rate”.
