Arsenal make transfer decision on Aaron Ramsdale as keeper is linked to Chelsea after losing place to David Raya
ARSENAL will allow Aaron Ramsdale to leave the club at the end of the season, according to reports.
But the Gunners will not let him depart in the January transfer window.
Ramsdale, 25, has fallen behind David Raya, 28, in the battle to be Arsenal's No1.
The English goalkeeper initially believed both players would get regular minutes this season.
But since being dropped in September, Ramsdale has played just two Carabao Cup games and the Premier League match versus Brentford as the Spaniard was ineligible against his parent club.
Raya's move across London is set to be made permanent at the end of the season for £27million.

Meanwhile, Ramsdale's father Nick recently revealed his son has “lost his smile” and claimed he was unaware there would be direct competition for his spot when he penned a new contract in May.
now reports that he is open to leaving the Emirates.
They claim Ramsdale is open to leaving on loan in January - but Arsenal are likely to prevent that happening.
He will therefore have to stay until the end of the season and then be put up for sale.

Chelsea are supposedly keen and they could bid for him in the summer.
There is interest in Wolves' Jose Sa from Saudi Arabian clubs and a move to Molineux is another possible destination for him.
Ramsdale is also allegedly on the radar of Newcastle, as well as his two former clubs Bournemouth and Sheffield United.
