Carlos Tevez joins Shanghai Shenhua on astonishing £3million-a-month wages
Argentinian striker brought in by new boss Gus Poyet to become the latest star to make a mega-money Chinese Super League move
CARLOS TEVEZ has completed his move to Shanghai Shenhua in an incredible £3million-a-month deal.
The Argentinian striker, 32, had been planning to end his career with Boca Juniors in his homeland.
But new Shenhua boss Gus Poyet made Tevez his No1 priority ahead of the new Chinese Super League season and has got his man.

The Uruguayan chief has previously stopped just short of confirming the deal – which will make the ex-Premier League star the world’s best paid player – was done.
He said: “I’m still waiting for 100 per cent to get permission to talk to Carlos about what’s ahead.
“I don’t want to be unfair to people. It seems that everything is done and missing some details to be announced.”
Shenhua finished fourth in the CSL last season – 16 points behind champions Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao.
Tevez joins former Chelsea star Oscar as the latest big-name addition to Chinese football.
The duo will compete against the likes of Demba Ba, Alex Teixeira, Fernandinho and Paulinho in the growing competition.

But Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino insisted he was not worried about losing key players.
He said: “I don’t believe it’s a danger for us. I can accept all the decisions, but it’s sometimes difficult to understand this type of decision.
