Former Man Utd chief Ed Woodward lands shock new job nearly two years after Old Trafford exit
FORMER Manchester United CEO Ed Woodward has landed a new job almost two years after leaving Old Trafford.
The 52-year-old has been appointed as a Strategic Advisor and Non-Executive Board Member for artificial intelligence company SentientSports.
Discussing his new role, Woodward said: "I am excited to be joining the SentientSports board and working alongside Ryan (Beal, CEO and founder) and the team.
"The blend of sports and AI technology at SentientSports is truly cutting-edge.
"With some of the industry's leading AI talents involved, I see tremendous potential for innovation and expanding global digital fanbases.
"I'm thrilled to be part of such a dynamic company with the potential to revolutionise the global digital sports landscape."

Founded in 2020, SentientSports revolutionise sport by providing AI technology to create analytics and content.
The company claims to be on a mission to "revolutionise professional sports teams' player recruitment strategies by integrating risk assurance, simulation, and forward-looking analytics."
Woodward's shock career change comes just under two years after his Man Utd departure.
The former CEO's recruitment and decision making at Old Trafford prompted heavy criticism from many United fans.

His managerial appointments failed to yield much silverware following the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson.
