In one quick-tempered moment, Jackson, 22, could be seen arguing with the Croatian midfielder.

Both players could be seen gesturing to each other until Jackson had enough and then proceeded to shush Kovacic.

Despite trying to end the discussion, the striker continued to argue with the former Blues star.

Chelsea fans loved seeing the moment as it was posted on social media.

Many of them compared the Ivorian to club hero Costa who also had a fiery temper during his time at Stamford Bridge.

One commented: "Also when Sterling scored he turned him and pointed to the City fans. Diego Costa vibes."

A second wrote: "Bro has got the Diego Costa vibes."

A third posted: "What we need upfront."

A fourth said: "He got that Diego Costa in him."

A fifth added: "Jackson is actually a menaceeeee."

While another joked: "Funniest thing about this is, Jackson came over to Kovacic and started the conversation."

Jackson continued his recent hot streak in front of goal as he netted against Man City in the match.

Meanwhile in the game Chelsea's Cole Palmer took the plaudits as he netted a late penalty to earn the hosts a point.

He had been booked earlier in the game for scuffing up the penalty spot before Erling Haaland's penalty.

Palmer was also on the receiving end of a shove from Haaland at the end of the game as he tried to listen in on City's players discussing tactics.
