Football star rushed to hospital with serious head injury before fans pray for speedy recovery
FOOTBALL star Peter Ojemen suffered a serious head injury during Dover Athletic's clash with Yeovil Town.
There was a break in play as the 22-year-old received treatment.
After nine minutes on the pitch, Ojemen was stretchered off but was conscious.
Dover confirmed at the end of the game that he had been sent to hospital for more checks.
A statement read: "Peter Ojemen is well and in hospital awaiting the relevant scans and tests.
"We’d like to thank the @YTFC staff and paramedics for their help and quick response during the game 🤝.

Yeovil Town commented on the post from their official account.
It said: "Everyone at Yeovil Town Football Club wishes Peter all the best during his recovery."
Fans wished the star a speedy recovery on social media.
