Neymar ‘AXED from Al-Hilal squad’ as Saudi Pro League leaders look to replace star with left-back
NEYMAR has been axed from Al-Hilal's squad after his most recent injury.
The star forward suffered a serious knee injury last month while on International duty with Brazil.
The 31-year-old was hurt during a 2026 World Cup qualifier against Uruguay at the Centenario Stadium and was carried out on a stretcher as he broke down in tears.
The Brazil international went under the knife earlier this month and is expected to be out until September.
That means Neymar is highly likely to miss the rest of the season with the Saudi Pro League leaders.

This poses as a major blow for the Saudi giants as Neymar only joined them just three months ago.
Al-Hilal reached an initial £77.6million deal with PSG for the Brazilian who is set to make £314m over the next two years.
