Liverpool star opens up on shock PSG transfer talk and says ‘if I said no, I’d be lying’
IBRAHIMA KONATE confessed "If I said no, I'd be lying" when asked about a shock transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Liverpool defender opened up about his thoughts for a move to the French capital.
Konate revealed after the Red's 1-1 draw against Luton on Sunday that he has envisioned himself wearing the Parisian outfit.
The 24-year-old who joined the Merseyside club in 2021 has played a starring role in Jurgen Klopp's squad this term.
Having made 11 appearances in the campaign so far the Frenchman added that a move to PSG is not a top priority right now.
When asked about joining PSG Konate told French outlet : "If I said no, I’d be lying, but if you’re asking, is it one of my objectives? Not at all."

Born and raised in Paris Konate admired the Ligue 1 sides' effort to recruit French nationals.
He continued: "PSG has made sure to recruit players who understand each other well and who play with each other for the France national team.
"Even for the people and the Parisian fans, it makes them happy.
"It’s what they’ve been waiting for for years, having Parisian players or at least French players in the team."

PSG have built a team with many French nationals including stars, Kylian Mbappe, Lucas Hernandez, Ousmane Dembele and Randal Kolo Muani.
Meanwhile, Konate is a key member of Les Bleus and has made 13 appearances for his country since his debut in June 2022.
He was included in Didier Deschamps's squad for the 2022 World Cup assisting France to reach the final.
