CULT Manchester United hero Javier Hernandez faces an uncertain future after LA Galaxy released him following a serious injury suffered in June.
The former West Ham striker, 35, known as "Chicharito" which translates to The Little Pea, was famed as a super-sub at Old Trafford from 2010-2015.
But the 109-cap Mexico international has not played since damaging the ACL on his right knee against Real Salt Lake in the MLS five months ago.
Now Galaxy are making the ex-Bayer Leverkusen star a free agent after his contract expired.
Hernandez had one of the Premier League's best goals-per-minute ratios during his United days.
But he was frustrated by his lack of starts and, after a loan spell with Real Madrid, he departed Old Trafford eight years ago.
Now he's bowing out at Galaxy after 82 games, with just nine of those appearances from the bench - notching 39 goals and six assists.
But judging by an Instagram post, Hernandez is determined to turn misfortune to his advantage.
The former Sevilla hitman wrote: “Life becomes exciting when you allow yourself to change and evolve to new challenges.
“Thanks to everyone who was involved in my journey these 4 years. Thank you for everything @lagalaxy.”

The club's head coach Gregg Vanney praised Hernandez for his desire and leadership.
The former DC United boss, 49, said: “We are grateful to Javier for his dedication and contributions to the LA Galaxy.
“Javier was a passionate leader for our club on and off the field.
"We wish him all the best moving forward.”
