Breeders’ Cup tips: Templegate’s day one picks include a Brit winner as racing’s world championships kicks off
ROLL UP, roll up... the Breeders' Cup is back in town and with a whole host of British and Irish superstars taking over, it looks all set to be a belter.
Sun Racing's Templegate has gone through the day one action below, which will be shown on ITV3 from 8.30pm.

IT’s already been a big week for James Doyle who announced he was leaving Godolphin to be the No1 jockey to the Emir Of Qatar’s Wathnan Racing.
And he can celebrate his big-money move with a Breeders' Cup win on CARLA’S WAY (10.20).
She clocked a big personal best for Doyle (below) when winning the Rockfel at Newmarket and will relish this extra furlong on fast ground.
The tip looked the winner from the off at HQ and can take another step up.

Buchu is a threat after an easy win at Keeneland, while She Feels Pretty’s got speed but leaves it late so will need luck.
Britain should already have one on the board thanks to BIG EVS (9.00) in the opening Juvenile Turf Sprint.
He has the two main things you need to win over five furlongs on this tight turf track – a low draw and a fast start.
This son of the brilliant sprinter Blue Point has made all on four of her five starts.
Apart from one blip in the Nunthorpe at York he has been fantastic and teamed up with tonight’s rider Tom Marquand for the first time when winning the Flying Childers.
She has won on quick ground and can see off other low draws No Nay Mets and Crimson Advocate who look her main rivals for the home team.
RIVER TIBER (11.40) was my first choice to Aidan O’Brien is in the winners.
But the colt was dramatically ruled out not long before racing began, with Ryan Moore switching to Unquestionable.
O’Brien is going for a sixth win in the race and with Moore jocking off Frankie Dettori on the horse, can seal it in the Juvenile Turf.
TAMARA (9.40) is hard to beat after clocking a scorching time at Del Mar.
Trainer Richard Mandella has won this race three times before and says this is his best filly yet.
Candied looks the one to follow her home after landing a Keeneland Grade 1 in a fast time three weeks ago.

MUTH (11.00) looked special in the Grade 1 American Pharoah for controversial Bob Baffert here earlier this month.
He had almost four lengths in hand when making it two out of two at Santa Anita. He can take another step up.
