My dad’s one of the most famous rock stars in the world but I went into a career in showjumping and won Olympic silver

The Games star has opened up on the support from her legendary parents.

JESSICA SPRINGSTEEN memorably landed an Olympic silver medal at Tokyo 2020.

The showjumper has stardom in her blood with her father Bruce needing no introduction.

Bruce Springsteen is a beloved singer-songwriter best known for his songs that chronicle his working-class roots in New Jersey.

Her rock star dad is famed for hits Dancing in the Dark, Glory Days and Born in the USA.

Springsteen has won 20 Grammy Awards, four American Music Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and an Academy Award.

He recently postponed the rest of his tour with the E Street Band until 2024 while he continues to recover from peptic ulcer disease.

But the music legend -nicknamed "The Boss" - has always supported his daughter's career.

Springsteen and Patti Scialfa are the only husband-and-wife Rock & Roll Hall of Famers to have an Olympian daughter.

Jessica Springsteen formed part of the USA's jumping team as they finished second in the equestrian finals in Japan.

The 31-year-old achieved her lifelong dream of competing at the Olympic Games after being named as a reserve at London 2012.

She ranked as high as 14th in the world in showjumping and trained on her family's 368-acre farm in Colts Neck.

Jessica was on national duty in Barcelona last month, while competing in the FEI Jumping Nations Cup final.

Team USA missed out on the much- sought-after qualifying spot on offer for the Paris 2024 Olympics, after finishing fifth.

Germany were the team to qualify, leaving the United States needing to shine in Pan American Games in Chile this week.

Jessica first started riding horses at the age of four which inspired her love of the sport.

The Olympian : "I've been so grateful that my parents have supported me throughout my career."
