The 32-year-old bid an emotional farewell to fans during her final TV appearance hosting Championship Rugby League on Wednesday.
Jones has hosted the rugby show on Viaplay Sports UK for the past two years but the programme has now ended.
But the fan fave - who also presents football for the BBC - got over that on Thursday as she headed to Newcastle.
Jones and Sky Sports Soccer Saturday legend Stelling, who left the hit TV show after nearly three decades in the summer, were on stage at the Kids Out charity event on Tyneside.

Prior to the bash, the Cheshire-born beauty put on a busty display for her 400,000 Instagram followers.
Emma shared a snap of herself in her low-cut dress that left very little to the imagination.
That was followed by a selfie video clip, which revealed even more in a whole new outfit, where she said: “I am absolutely buzzing to be hosting the Kids Out charity event in Newcastle tonight alongside the legend that is Jeff Stelling.
“The atmosphere is incredible already and fingers crossed that we are going to raise lots of money for the incredible charity.”

Emma then revealed that her “first dress broke” so she had had to undergo a “quick change” as she posted another two photos of herself alongside Stelling, who is set to start at talkSPORT next month.
And after her posts on social media, fans were begging to see more of them together.
“Great picture 2 broadcasting legends,” wrote one.
“Lovely photo of you both,” said another as they claimed that they were a “presenting dream team”.
And another echoed that by saying: “The dream team .. make it happen.. would love them co presenting the England matches on C4.”
Emma has made a huge name for herself in the industry and is known for her presenting.
She can be seen on BBC as a host on MOTDx - which has quietly been axed by the Beeb - and has been working with the broadcaster since 2021.
She first amassed an army of fans for her work on Leeds TV.
Emma then shot onto the national scene during England's 2018 World Cup warm-up clash against Costa Rica.

However, she revealed how she suffered a nightmare wardrobe malfunction at Leicester's training ground earlier this year.
And it left her fearing that she would be giving her fellow drivers an eye-full on the motorways as she clung “on for dear life” to contain her modesty in her car seat.
