Laura Woods opens up on wild summer that left her with ‘month-long hangover’ before becoming TNT Sports host

LAURA WOODS has opened up on her summer that left her with a "month-long hangover" on the Monday Mile podcast with Aimee Fuller.
Woods took the summer off to enjoy herself after leaving her long-term role as presenter of the talkSPORT breakfast show.
It was long speculated that she would become the main anchor of TNT Sports but the deal was kept under wraps while the company rebranded from BT Sport.
That allowed Woods to enjoy the summer off for the first time in a while, and she posted on her socials about being able to attend Ascot, Wimbledon and Glastonbury.
Woods spoke on the Monday Mile podcast about her summer with Fuller, a two-time British Winter Olympian who competes in snowboarding.
The podcast aims to get into the mindset of high-profile sportspeople and celebrities and find out what motivates them in life.

The two spoke about the months that followed on from Woods stepping down from talkSPORT and how her life was without the early morning starts that a breakfast show demands.
She said: "[I thought] As soon as I give up breakfast I'm going to be going to yoga every day, I'm gonna be in the gym all the time. But I must have slept for about two months!
"It took a while for that motivation to kick in and then it did for a while. And then it peaked and I went to the gym and did everything I wanted to do and then I went out and I started drinking and I was like 'This is great!'
"So I just started saying yes to everything, saying yes to all the fun. So I went through that period and now feel like I've had a hangover for what feels like a month."

After the presenter's summer of festivals and sporting events, she appears to have settled into the winter with new beau Adam Collard.
The two were first pictured together last month and went public on each other's Instagram profiles.
The pair appear to be in domestic bliss as they were pictured enjoying a dog walk with takeaway coffees in hand.
The former Love Island star is said to have told pals how "smitten" he is with Woods.
He also broke his silence on the relationship when he told : "It's going great, you know. She's amazing and we are having a lot of fun. It feels like I'm living the dream."
The reality star also added to his tattoo collection with a new piece of ink on the back of his neck reading: "Adore u."
It's believed that the ink is a tribute to his new relationship with Woods.
