Misfits Boxing dealt huge blow as fighter ‘arrested’ just days before bout on Tommy Fury vs KSI undercard

MISFITS BOXING's Prime card has suffered a huge blow after one of the fighters competing on the show was "arrested" just days before the event.

YouTuber Ryan Taylor was due to face rapper Swarmz in a rematch on Saturday night having been beaten in a round in January.

But according to Happy Punch Promotions, the Dubai-based Brit has been nicked just days before the dust-up.

Misfits have confirmed to SunSport that the bout is OFF but were unable to give an official reason as to why.

The promotion - co-owned by KSI - are now seeking a last-gasp replacement.

Fans of the influencer boxing scene were left stunned by the cancellation of the fight, with one saying: "Arrested for what?"

Another said: "WE NEED AN ASAP REPLACEMENT IF THSST THE CASE."

And another said: "Crazy way of ducking a fight fairs."

One remarked: "So much for having no pullouts on this card."

Another chimed in: "Man's that petrified of Swarmz he went and got himself arrested so he didn’t have to fight."

Taylor and Swarmz locked horns with one another in January on the undercard of KSI's clash with FaZe Temperrr.

Swarmz won the contest via first-round TKO courtesy of a referee stoppage, which came about thanks to severe swelling around Taylor's right eye.

An elated Swarmz, 26, said: "It was a jab, a touch, we'll call it a little touch.

"But you know what?

"I've been working hard for this, everyone saw me get battered against KSI, making fun of me calling me a ballerina.

"It's been playing on my mind and I had to get redemption."

Headlining Saturday night's Misfits Prime at the Manchester Arena is KSI clash against Tommy Fury.

And in the co-main event, Logan Paul returns in a grudge match against jiu-jitsu champion-turned-MMA star Dillon Danis.
